Nate Gordon is a workers’ compensation defense attorney in the Greenville, South Carolina office. A Spartanburg, South Carolina native, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Georgetown University in 2017, where he competed as a Division 1 track and field athlete. He continued his athletic career at Clemson University, earning his Master of Science in Athletic Leadership in 2019 and becoming a 2018 NCAA Outdoor All-American in the process.
Nate earned his J.D. and Diploma of Comparative Law at LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center. Prior to joining the firm, he served as an associate attorney at a boutique regulatory firm, where he focused on Medicare Secondary Payer compliance and federal regulatory matters. He also brings experience from two Louisiana state court judicial clerkships and earlier work in personal injury, and criminal diversion programming. Nate was admitted to the South Carolina Bar on May 18, 2026. He is also admitted to practice in Indiana and Washington, D.C.
Back in his hometown, Nate stays connected to the sport that shaped him – he volunteers as an assistant track and field coach at Spartanburg High School and holds a USATF Level 1 coaching certification. Outside of the office, he enjoys staying active, following collegiate track and field, and cheering on the Tigers (either Clemson or LSU).
