Morgan E. Barker is a worker’ compensation defense attorney in the firm’s Charlotte, North Carolina office. Morgan was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, and currently lives in the Charlotte area. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Environmental Sustainability from the State University of New York at Oswego in 2018. In 2021, she graduated Cum Laude with her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she served as a Solicitation Editor for the Law Review. During law school, she also served as a Dean’s Fellow, Teaching Assistant for Torts, Student Bar Association Vice President, and the Black Law Student Association’s Vice President.
Morgan was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 2021 and the South Carolina Bar in 2022. She is also a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar and North Carolina Bar Association.
