Langdon Cheves, III, is a litigation attorney in the firm’s Greenville, South Carolina office. He graduated from Emory University in 1993 and the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1996. Langdon represents insurance carriers and their insureds in personal injury, premises liability, products liability, fiduciary and construction matters. Langdon also practices in the area of governmental liability, defending governmental entities and employees in civil rights litigation. He has tried close to 100 jury trials in the State and Federal Courts of South Carolina. Langdon is admitted to the South Carolina Bar, the United States District Court (District of South Carolina) and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Judicial Circuit. Langdon is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a national invitation-only organization involving experienced trial attorneys who exhibit the virtues of civility, integrity and professionalism. He has also been named on numerous occasions to Greenville Business Magazine’s Legal Elite in the field of insurance law.

Langdon lives in Greenville and is a member of First Presbyterian Church. In his spare time he does his best to raise three step-children and is informed by his wife that he cares a little too much about Clemson football.
