Christopher (Chris) M. Cato practices workers’ compensation defense in the firm’s Columbia, South Carolina office. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Clemson University and his J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He served on the editorial board of the Journal of Law and Education.
Chris was admitted to the South Carolina bar in 2022, and he is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Staff Attorney for the Supreme Court of South Carolina.
Chris was born and raised in Travelers Rest, SC, but he now calls Lexington, South Carolina home. Chris lives with his wife, Emily, and daughter, Hettie. When Chris is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and being far too emotionally invested in all things Clemson.
