Elizabeth K. Williams practices workers’ compensation defense in our firm’s Wilmington, North Carolina office, where she counsels and defends businesses. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History, cum laude, from Centre College in 2018. Elizabeth was one of seven students selected to be a John C. Young scholar, which culminated in her research being published in the John C. Young Journal. Additionally, Elizabeth was a member of the Bonner Scholar Program, a national service organization, for all four years of college, and she earned an award for most hours of service completed across the entire student body her senior year. Elizabeth also earned the Emily R. Cowan Memorial Prize for the best undergraduate essay in English.
Elizabeth then earned her Juris Doctor from the Washington and Lee School of Law in 2021. While there, Elizabeth served as a student attorney in the Community Legal Practice Center and as a research assistant. Admitted to the DC and North Carolina Bar, Elizabeth is originally from Fort Thomas Kentucky and now resides in Jacksonville, North Carolina. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys fitness, reading, and spending time with her husband and young children.
