Zachary D. Kunz is a workers’ compensation defense attorney in the firm’s Atlanta, Georgia office. He graduated summa cum laude while receiving his B.A. in Business Management from Piedmont University’s Walker School of Business. He also lettered in baseball for four years. He received his J.D. degree from the Georgia State University College of Law where he was Vice President of the Oglethorpe Society and SELS. During Law school, he served as a legal aid to the Lieutenant Governor of Georgia, Casey Cagle.
Zach was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2015 and is a member of the Georgia Bar Association. Zach is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Georgia and has has been named to U.S. News Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® for 2026 for Workers’ Compensation Law – Employers. He has practiced exclusively as a workers’ compensation defense attorney defending the rights of Employers and Insurers.
Zach was born at Cherry Point Marine Base in North Carolina, but grew up in Lawrenceville, GA. He lives in Atlanta with his beautiful wife, Brooke, PharmD, and daughter, Leighton.
