Samantha D. Dudley is a workers’ compensation defense attorney in the firm’s Charlotte, North Carolina office. She received a Bachelor of Arts in both English and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She later received her Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law, where she first began litigating in moot court competitions, served as the Symposium Editor for the Elon Law Review, and worked as a Teaching Assistant for two first-year courses, Legal Writing and Civil Procedure. Samantha also spent a semester clerking for the Honorable James L. Gale in the North Carolina Business Court, where she worked on complex business cases including employment law matters.
Samantha is admitted the North Carolina Bar, and she is also a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar. She began her career in civil litigation, where her practice consisted of personal injury, employment law disputes, and insurance defense. Samantha was also previously admitted to the South Carolina Bar, but has since gone inactive as her current practice is solely dedicated to helping insurance companies and employers in North Carolina claims.
Samantha was born and raised in Charlotte, and she currently lives in Matthews with her husband, Brandon, along with their three children (Savannah, Sadie, and Carter) and two dogs. In her free time, you can find her cheering on her kids from the sidelines or in the audience at a dance competition. She is also an avid supporter of the Tar Heels in any sporting event. Go Heels!
