Grant B. Richards practices in the firm’s Columbia, South Carolina office. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school, Grant received a CALI Award in International Environmental Law and was a member of the Public Interest Law Society.
Grant was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2022 and is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association. He is an active member of the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division and was recognized with a Star of the Quarter Award in October 2024. Before joining the firm, he served as a prosecutor in the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
Grant was born in Charleston, West Virginia, and raised in Lexington, South Carolina, where he currently resides. Outside of the office, he enjoys cheering for the South Carolina Gamecocks and West Virginia Mountaineers.
