Wesley (Wes) J. Shull practices in the firm’s Greenville, South Carolina office. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University and his J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law where he received the Suggs & Kelly scholarship, the Emory Sneeden scholarship and the Burnette R. Maybank scholarship.
After law school, Wes worked from 2003 to 2004 as law clerk to the Hon. John L. Breeden, South Carolina Circuit Court. Wes was admitted to the South Carolina State Bar in 2003 and the North Carolina State Bar in 2008. He is a member of The South Carolina Bar Association and the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Association. Wes was named to US News Best Lawyers for Workers’ Compensation Law in 2019-2022 and to Greenville Business Magazine Legal Elite for Workers’ Compensation in 2020 and 2021. He is also a Certified SC Civil Court Mediator. Wes practices in the areas of workers’ compensation defense and civil liability defense.
Wes lives in Greenville with his wife, Mary Porter, and two sons, Jack and Vann. He is a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church and Saint Andrew’s Society of the Carolina. In his free time, Wes enjoys spending time with his family, supporting Clemson Tiger Football, fishing, hunting, and working outside on his John Deere lawn tractor.
